The new mast for ‘Raisena’ was built in the first few months of 2015. Towering 25 metres above the waterline, this rig was specially designed and engineered by New-Zealander Chris Mitchell for Ceilidh Composite Technologies. Raisena is sailed on the Norfolk Broads in the UK where light winds, narrow channels and high reed along the river banks makes for challenging designs. This rig is immense, but has a section dimension of 192*103mm, the same size as one would normally find in a mast of 18 metres.

We are currently testing various solutions for the nicest way to fit and finish the HIT Finn mast for Dinghy Racing Centre. Here are some photos to show what we are working on
